april is here!

Happy 1st day of APRIL!! Isn't that just awesome?! I LOVE the month of April for lots of reasons: Jake's birthday is the 23rd (he'll be turning 24!!), the weather starts to WARM up, Jake has a 2 week break from school so we can play lots, celebrate Easter, bike rides and walks outside, pretty spring flowers start to bloom, and more!! YAY for warmer days that are coming, today is a

Today is also...April Fool's day! I have never been much of a joke player on April Fool's, I'm just not that into all the pranks and things like that. But, recently I can across a CUTE idea of how to do celebrate April Fool's day without ruining anything of someones or making someones day miserable! ha! It was one the Our Best Bites website!

They made a variety of CUTE April Fool's day cupcakes, I thought it was the cutest thing! What a fun way to celebrate April Fool's without the mess and pranks!

Spaghetti cupcakes...mashed potato cupcakes...pea and carrot cupcakes...corn on the cob cupcakes...popcorn cupcakes! I might just have to try some of these yummy treats sometime!

This morning I think my phone was playing an April Fool's joke on ME because...my alarm never went off!! Yep, I slept till about 8:45 this morning, and I have to be to work at like 9, so yeah I was late! ha ha!  

Hope you ALL have a great weekend! I LOVE General Conference weekend and the spirit it brings. I LOVE hearing from the Prophet and Apostles of the Church. It's SO nice to be able to cuddle with my sweetheart and watch it together on tv! And of course, Girl's Night Out with the gals on Saturday while the boys are at Priesthood and dinner afterwards with them!! A fun tradition that we have had in the fam for years! Yay!
