the birthday boy

This handsome boy turned 23 on April 23...his GOLDEN birthday! Of course we had to go with a whole golden theme...gold table cloth, gold forks, golden plates to put the cake on, gold balloons and chocolate gold coins. It was such a fun day!!! I sure am glad that 23 years ago my sweetheart was born! He makes me SO HAPPY and I can't imagine a day without him! I love you Jake!

On his real birthday Jake and I went out to eat at P.F. Changs and rented a show, it was lots of fun! So we celebrated the next day with some of Jakes family and all of mine! We had delicious pulled pork sandwiches, (the first time I had made them, and I must say they turned out really yummy) fresh fruit, salads, and of course cake and ice cream. It was a great night!
