LOVE is in the air

Jake and I had a wonderful Valentines Day and a great weekend! On Thursday night we went out to dinner at Macaroni Grill and it was so much fun! I love going on dates with Jake and getting all dressed up, it really is so much fun. After dinner we went over to Fashion Place mall and walked in some of the shops. It was a great night!



I made Jake this fun candy-o-gram for our Anniversary of our First kiss which was on February 11, 2005, which was 4 years ago this last week! I snuck this into his car while he was at school and he had a surprise in his car when he came out!

And he brought me home this beautiful flowers that night for our first kiss anniversary and Valentines Day! He also wrote me a cute note and had it sitting on the counter when I came out in the morning to eat breakfast! It was so sweet!


Valentines morning I surprised Jake by making my waffles that he loves but added a fun Valentines Day twist...I dyed the batter PINK! I poured the batter out so it would make hearts and added some yummy blueberries to the top. They were really fun and Jake loved them!




Valentines Day is also my sister Emily's birthday! She turned 19 this year and we celebrated by eating dinner at Costa Vida that night and then went back to the house and opened gifts and ate cake and ice cream! Happy Birthday Emily!




Emily is in LOVE with frosting...and yes she did eat all of that!!

We also had some family visiting from out of state this weekend and so we spent most of the weekend visiting, eating yummy food, and hanging out! It was such a great relaxing weekend!!
